Overview
A premier institutional-grade financial services and digital infrastructure enterprise is seeking a Risk Management Analyst to support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational, financial, and credit risk exposures. This mid-level role focuses on stress-testing financial models, refining risk tracking frameworks, and delivering real-time risk intelligence to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, evaluate, and document financial, operational, and credit risk exposures across various business units, ensuring alignment with institutional risk appetite statements.
- Execute quantitative risk models, historical back testing, and macroeconomic stress-testing scenarios to assess portfolio resilience and capital adequacy under volatile market conditions.
- Investigate, log, and analyze risk events, control failures, and operational breaches; collaborate with business heads to design and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed regulatory risk reports (e.g., Basel frameworks, Dodd-Frank compliance) and executive dashboards for internal risk committees and external auditors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a highly quantitative field.
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in risk management, internal controls, or quantitative analysis within an investment bank, corporate financial institution, or fintech.
- Progress toward or completion of an FRM (Financial Risk Manager) or CFA designation is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex logic, nested formulas, data arrays) and practical experience with SQL for querying large relational databases.
- Strong understanding of quantitative risk metrics such as Value at Risk (VaR), Expected Shortfall, credit scoring matrices, and liquidity coverage ratios.
- Experience building interactive risk dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or enterprise-scale governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Salary range: $110,000 – $145,000 base.
