Overview
The organization is seeking an RSPO SCC auditor to support sustainability and certification efforts.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct RSPO SCC audits for organizations across the palm oil supply chain.
- Assess compliance with RSPO SCC standards and identify areas of non-compliance.
- Perform risk assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports that document findings and recommendations.
- Communicate audit results to clients.
- Stay current on RSPO SCC requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integrity of the certification process.
- Manage multiple audit projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
- Travel to various locations to conduct on-site audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Agriculture, or a related field.
- RSPO SCC Lead Auditor certification (required or preferred).
- ISO 9001 certification from an internationally accredited and recognized institution, such as PECB or IRCA.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing or a related area.
- Proven experience conducting RSPO SCC audits or similar sustainability certifications.
- Strong knowledge of auditing techniques and RSPO supply chain certification standards.
- Excellent risk assessment and data analysis skills.
- Outstanding report writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in time management and organizing multiple projects.
- Deep understanding of the sustainable palm oil industry and supply chain management.
- Familiarity with environmental and social sustainability practices.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
