Overview
A leading organization is seeking a Senior Consultant with expertise in SAP Payroll (US) and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) to support Application Managed Services (AMS) operations. This remote role focuses on ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, production stability, and system enhancements within SAP Payroll and ECP environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day AMS support including incident management, service requests, defect resolution, and minor enhancements
- Maintain, configure, and support SAP Payroll (US) and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) systems
- Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with US federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Troubleshoot payroll processing issues, including integrations, wage types, schemas, PCRs, GL postings, and configuration challenges
- Support integrations between SAP ECP, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP S/4HANA, and third-party systems such as benefits, finance, time, and attendance
- Manage payroll-related compliance requirements including IRS regulations, W-2 processing, overpayments, garnishments, and FLSA rules
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT teams, and external vendors
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and process optimization
- Identify risks proactively, recommend solutions, and escalate critical issues as needed
- Provide accurate effort estimations for support and enhancement activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Payroll (US)
- Extensive experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
- Proven background in Application Managed Services (AMS) or Production Support environments
- Deep expertise in payroll schemas, PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules), wage types, GL posting, and payroll troubleshooting
- Strong integration experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP S/4HANA, and third-party payroll, benefits, finance, and time systems
- In-depth knowledge of US payroll regulations including federal, state, and local tax compliance, IRS regulations, W-2 processing, garnishments, overpayments, and FLSA (overtime, exempt/non-exempt)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Payroll Control Center (PCC)
- Workforce Software (Time & Attendance) integration experience
- SAP SuccessFactors certifications
