Overview
A company specializing in AI-driven strategy execution solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant. The organization supports enterprises in aligning, measuring, and achieving key outcomes through a platform that enables real-time operationalization of strategy, team alignment, and growth. Their clients include industries such as technology, financial services, and healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily and monthly financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and expense tracking.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support reconciliations.
- Help prepare financial reports, dashboards, and assist with budgeting.
- Collaborate with external accountants and auditors for tax, reporting, and compliance.
- Support accounting for international entities.
- Participate in internal operations such as HR, legal, procurement, facilities, and IT.
- Design and improve workflows to increase business efficiency and scalability.
- Manage special projects and implement new tools and systems.
- Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Support onboarding and off-boarding of employees and vendors.
- Take ownership of undefined situations and provide solutions.
- Act as liaison between departments to resolve issues.
- Drive initiatives to improve team alignment and reduce friction.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, finance, accounting, or a similar generalist role.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting workflows.
- Experience with accounting software such as Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar.
- Proficient with spreadsheets and data analysis.
- Experience with project management tools is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Total Cash Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 depending on experience, qualifications, and location premium.
- Equity: Standard equity package for the position.
- Remote role with a premium for Bay Area candidates.
