Overview
A fast-growing SaaS organization focused on providing technology and data-driven engagement solutions to nonprofits, colleges, and hospital fundraisers is seeking a Senior Accountant. This role is suited for a detail-oriented and adaptable professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys problem-solving across multiple accounting and finance functions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations with high accuracy
- Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies or variances
- Maintain and improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation
- Support accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other general ledger activities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Revenue Operations, Payroll, and other teams
- Assist with audit requests and external reporting requirements
- Support billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other operational accounting activities as needed
- Optimize workflows and reporting within NetSuite and related systems
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures
- Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives in a fast-paced SaaS environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
- Strong reconciliation and general ledger expertise
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- SaaS industry experience
- CPA certification (preferred but not required)
- Advanced Excel skills
