Overview
The organization is hiring a Senior Accountant for the Finance & Accounting department. This is a full-time, permanent role with a remote work model.
- Work location preference: Denver, Colorado, Texas. Also open to candidates based in Illinois, Arizona, Florida, Michigan, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah, Wyoming, Massachusetts, etc.
- Reports to: Accounting Manager
- Working hours: Standard business hours (Monday–Friday), with occasional overlap to support order-to-cash operations across multiple entities.

Responsibilities
This role will own key areas of general ledger and close activities across a growing, multi-entity organization, including process ownership and scaling as the business expands.
- Own monthly/quarterly accruals and general ledger accounting across the U.S., Canada, UK, and other entities
- Manage accounts payable processes and vendor relationships
- Own fixed assets accounting, including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules in NetSuite
- Own prepaid expense schedules and amortization
- Own intercompany accounting and allocations
- Maintain R&D capitalization schedules
- Support the monthly close process alongside the Accounting Manager
- Lead or support ad hoc general accounting projects, including integrating newly acquired entities into GL processes
- Mentor and guide AP support staff as the team builds out
- Use AI tools (mentioned: Claude) in day-to-day workflow
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
- 6–8 years of progressive general accounting experience
- Hands-on NetSuite experience
- Experience with AP automation platforms such as Ramp, Brex, Concur or similar
- Solid AP process experience, including corporate cards and employee reimbursements
- Experience with fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, and intercompany accounting
- Experience operating across multiple countries and currencies
- Track record of building process through real organizational change and growth
- Experience leading at least 1 direct report
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA
- Prior experience in a PE-backed or actively acquisitive company
- Experience implementing or transitioning AP automation tools
