Overview
This role is for a Senior Accountant within Finance & Accounting. The position is full-time, permanent and remote, reporting to the Accounting Manager.
Location: Preference is given to candidates who can work in Denver, Colorado, Texas. The employer is also open to candidates based in Illinois, Arizona, Florida, Michigan, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah, Wyoming, Massachusetts, etc.
Working hours: Standard business hours (Monday–Friday), with occasional overlap to support order-to-cash operations across multiple entities.

Responsibilities
- Own revenue recognition within NetSuite while adhering to ASC 606.
- Lead revenue review and clean-up of the existing NetSuite instance.
- Own the order-to-cash cycle end to end across multiple entities.
- Own collections and AR management, driving down DSO and resolving escalated issues.
- Calculate and book commission expense accruals and GL entries, reconciling to compensation plans and Salesforce.
- Own sales tax registration and filing compliance across applicable jurisdictions.
- Take on ad hoc revenue-related projects, including integrating newly acquired entities’ revenue processes.
- Mentor and guide AR/collections support staff as the team builds out.
- Use AI tools (Claude) as part of day-to-day workflow.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar.
- 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience with deep revenue / order-to-cash ownership.
- Hands-on NetSuite experience (Advanced Revenue Management module required).
- Experience managing revenue recognition under ASC 606.
- Experience operating across multiple countries/currencies.
- Direct experience working with Salesforce in an order-to-cash context.
- Experience with collections/AR management.
- Track record of building process through real organizational change and growth.
- Experience leading at least 1 direct report.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA.
- Experience with commission accounting/reconciliation.
- Prior experience in a PE-backed or actively acquisitive company.
- Multi-jurisdiction sales tax compliance experience.
