Overview
A company in the customer experience intelligence industry is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Global Accounting Team. The organization provides a cloud platform enhanced with AI-driven analytics to transform customer sentiment data into actionable insights, helping businesses improve customer interactions and decision-making at scale.
Responsibilities
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Conduct preliminary research on complex accounting topics and evaluate the impact of new accounting standards
- Implement process improvements and automation to streamline financial close and enhance accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate transaction recording in financial statements
- Support special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed
- Provide guidance on accounting implications of contractual arrangements and business decisions
- Assist with US GAAP audits and tax filings
- Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
- Aid in system upgrades and implementations
- Lead or assist on cross-functional projects as required
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive general accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Fluent in English, both written and oral
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel skills preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with business curiosity
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities
- Ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Big 4 audit firms
- Familiarity with NetSuite and Salesforce
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary targeted at $100,000 (salary and benefits commensurate with skills, experience, and qualifications)
