Overview
This is a fully remote role.
The organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage key accounting and finance activities that support the cost containment business unit. Reporting to the VP of Finance – Cost Containment, this role supports accurate monthly financial close processes, invoicing, and audit support.
Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly close process, including calculation and posting of monthly revenue and commissions
- Coordinate with the central finance team to record cost of goods sold and operating expenses accurately
- Perform flux and trend analyses compared to prior periods
- Post cash activity daily or semi-daily
- Issue monthly invoices
- Apply cash and monitor accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts
- Support annual audit processes
- Assist with financial planning and analysis and broader corporate finance tasks
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the VP of Finance
Requirements
- 3–5 years of public accounting experience or private company accounting experience with full financial statement responsibilities preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, technical accounting standards, and financial reporting
- Ability to interpret and apply complex accounting guidance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain complex financial data clearly
- Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance required; CPA preferred
- Experience with Sage Intacct or similar financial reporting tools preferred
- Healthcare industry experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits
- $80,000—$90,000 USD annual salary
- Additional compensation such as bonuses and merit increases may be available
