Senior Analyst, Business Analytics

Overview

This role supports pricing and financial performance oversight by reviewing guarantee performance for assigned clients, producing monthly reporting, and partnering across Underwriting, Networks, Sales/Account Management, Audit, and Legal to analyze contract terms and inform pricing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly data pulls for assigned guarantee clients; review performance results, drug mix, and utilization to identify opportunities to mitigate financial risk to the organization.
• Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and accounting partners to understand and improve gaps and overlaps in processes and to analyze the multiple components and factors impacting a client’s financial performance.
• Conduct lookback analysis to review underwriting assumptions against contract language and actual results, providing recommendations for future improvements to senior leadership.
• Develop reporting packages and presentations for management; create best practices and draw conclusions to support critical business decisions.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience creating financial models and working with large data sets in a database environment.
• 3+ years of experience managing multiple projects and delivering results timely.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL/Google Cloud BigQuery.
• Must be proficient in Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of health insurance, managed care, or pharmaceutical industry.
• 2+ years of PBM experience, preferably in drug pricing and analytics.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range (Typical): $46,988.00 - $102,000.00
• Actual base salary offer depends on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
• Eligible for a bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
