Overview

Under general supervision of the designated Supervisor of Contracts & Chargebacks, the Contract & Chargebacks Senior Analyst is responsible for maintaining the contract management database system and ensuring timely, accurate reconciliation of Supplier and Customer chargeback submissions.

This role manages chargeback cases for suppliers, reconciles chargebacks, uses dashboards for data comparison, and maintains frequent contact with customers and suppliers to address payment issues. The position also requires accurate data entry of contract pricing and membership information into the contract management database system. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain timely updates of all contract pricing and membership information in the contract management database system.
  • Maintain exception reports that analyze pricing and membership information.
  • Work with distribution centers to troubleshoot contract discrepancies and update membership and pricing information.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and external partners to resolve inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Use dashboards to identify, compare, and reconcile contract-related information.
  • Analyze variance contracts returned by suppliers.
  • Perform analysis of contract discrepancies: identify the source of issues and determine the appropriate action needed to resolve them.
  • Identify the source of issues within contracts, research them, and communicate findings to team supervisors.
  • Reconcile chargebacks in accordance with approved guidelines.
  • Communicate using chargeback terminology with team supervisors.
  • Maintain frequent contact with suppliers to address payment issues.
  • Manage the Chargeback Accounts Receivable portfolio for suppliers.
  • Ensure timely collection of monies due from suppliers and meet aging goals as planned by senior management, while minimizing write-off dollars.
  • Be willing to work overtime hours, as needed, to meet departmental objectives.
  • Support Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) technology projects for suppliers, as required.
  • Provide status updates to supervisors and other team members.
  • Communicate across workstreams.
  • Discuss observations during interactions with a team supervisor.
  • Assist and support department managers in preparing for meetings.
  • Maintain and promote positive, professional working relationships with associates and management.
  • Comply with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of Contracts & Chargebacks is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Expertise in SAP is desirable.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time.
  • Salary Range: $52,000 - 81,620
    • This salary range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale.
    • Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois state-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
