Overview

A financial technology organization based in Boston, Massachusetts, with team members across the United States, Dominican Republic, and Canada, is seeking a Senior Analyst, Portfolio Strategy. This role is integral to providing insights that drive business growth by designing and tracking pricing and credit strategies. The position reports to the Manager of Portfolio Strategy and collaborates closely with executive leadership, Sales, and Underwriting departments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior team members to assess and manage portfolio risk in alignment with organizational risk tolerance.
  • Provide reporting and analysis on pricing and profitability to senior management regarding the portfolio and pricing initiatives.
  • Evaluate potential impacts of new strategies on the existing portfolio.
  • Monitor performance data models continuously and recommend policy changes related to these models.
  • Participate in exploratory initiatives to identify and develop new business strategies.
  • Work closely with senior team members to implement and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Identify and assess new data sources to enhance underwriting and analytics capabilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an analytically driven role such as finance, analytics, or consulting.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and quantitative skills.
  • Familiarity with risk and pricing strategies is preferred.
  • Self-starter with a strong drive to outperform and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key contacts at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python.
  • Knowledge of analytical and modeling techniques including Decision Trees, regression, and A/B testing.
  • Preferred experience in consumer or small business credit and pricing.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Targeted Salary: $135,000 - $170,000 USD
  • Annual Target Bonus: 10%
