Overview

This role involves providing high-touch operational client service for the organization’s Family Office division, supporting ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) client relationships in partnership with advisors and senior team members.

You will support complex client structures and manage a variety of operational workflows, including alternative investment operations, custodial service requests, client onboarding, reporting processes, billing, and ongoing account maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day servicing of Family Office client accounts, including new account opening, account maintenance, complex account administration, and custodial requests for accounts held at Charles Schwab.
  • Coordinate client onboarding, including account setup, regulatory disclosures, CRM and portfolio system administration, and document management.
  • Execute client transactions accurately and with urgency, including wires, ACHs, journals, transfers, tax payments, and other service requests.
  • Support alternative investment operations, including subscription documents, capital calls, distributions, KYC documentation, and reporting.
  • Partner closely with advisors and cross-functional teams (including trading, compliance, tax, and reporting) to deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, custodians, and internal partners while contributing to workflow improvements, team knowledge-sharing, and cross-functional support.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of client service, operations, or relationship support experience in wealth management, preferably within an RIA.
  • Experience supporting high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients and partnering closely with advisors.
  • Experience working with RIA custodians, preferably Charles Schwab, including account opening, maintenance, service requests, forms navigation, document handling, and custodial workflows.
  • Strong working knowledge of account registrations, including trusts, IRAs, foundations, donor-advised funds, and entity accounts.
  • Strong working knowledge of investment products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, managed accounts, and alternative investments.
  • Experience supporting alternative investment operations, including subscription documents, capital calls, distributions, KYC documentation, and reporting.
  • Experience using CRM and portfolio management systems to manage client accounts, workflows, and reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office core applications.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with Charles Schwab Advisor Center.
  • Family Office experience supporting trusts, foundations, entities, or multi-generational households.
  • Experience with Salentica Engage, Salesforce, Redtail, Microsoft Dynamics, Tamarac, Addepar, iCapital, CAIS, Canoe, or similar platforms.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $75,000-$105,000 + DOE
  • Variable compensation program eligibility may apply.

Location & Work Schedule

  • Full-time role.
  • Generally requires availability during standard office hours Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM Pacific Time to support collaboration with teams and clients.
  • May be based in one of the local offices, hybrid, or fully remote in California, Oregon, and Washington.
