Overview
This role involves developing and delivering solutions for clients pursuing operational excellence and/or technical solutions under the direction of a Manager, or Senior Manager/Director. The Senior Sage Intacct Implementation Consultant will support a national client base and lead small- and large-scale implementations.
Essential Responsibilities
- Prioritize, lead, and participate in efforts to ensure the team keeps pace with the evolution of technology and consulting, including AI, systems, and trends.
- Provide direction, feedback, and leadership in an environment of rapid change.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing strategies to improve overall performance.
- Propose tailored solutions linked to client business needs.
- Collect and analyze relevant data, conduct client interviews, prepare workpapers and reports, and serve as lead subject matter expert on projects.
- Design and configure accounting systems in collaboration with client accounting and IT leadership to establish robust systems that streamline financial processes, maintain data integrity, and support compliance.
- Generate comprehensive financial and operational reports by analyzing data, synthesizing information, and presenting key insights to stakeholders; collaborate with finance, operations, and other relevant teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Organize, establish, and monitor progress on project work plans to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget; escalate issues related to timeline, scope, and budget to the engagement manager and/or industry leader.
- Serve as a lead in services and business development maturity, including asset and methodology design and upkeep.
- Train, mentor, and/or serve as a performance coach to Consultant I’s and Consultant II’s; delegate and leverage work to support staff development.
- Perform emergency on-site or remote support as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in a professional services firm or 5+ years of private industry experience focused on the financial and/or accounting space.
- Implementation experience with Sage Intacct (experience with an equivalent Cloud-based technology may also be considered).
- Ability to openly discuss real or potential problems with clients or project team members; listening, comprehending, confirming, and representing client requirements across stakeholder groups.
- Occasional Monday through Friday travel required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
- Training, support, or consulting advisory experience.
- Experience with compliance or professional standards associated with the area of expertise.
- Experience in the NGE (Non-Profit, Government, and Education) or Healthcare industry.
- Working toward obtaining additional appropriate advanced certifications.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated base pay range: $88,000 to $118,000.
- Offers typically not made at the maximum; compensation at the time of offer depends on business-related factors including location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.
- Annual discretionary bonus eligibility may apply, subject to participation rules and based on individual and firm performance.
