Overview
This role is for a Senior Controller who will apply technical accounting expertise and strategic thinking to support clients in evaluating their current business model and planning for the future. You will work alongside the Accounting Operations team and help direct and refine core accounting functions while providing ongoing financial analysis to support key business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Provide clients with the highest level of accounting support
- Demonstrate an extensive understanding of accounting practices
- Direct all accounting functions, including payroll, accounts receivable/collections, expense processing, taxes, and revenue recognition and reporting as required (working with an Accountant/Accounting Manager as necessary)
- Manage communication with clients and help identify opportunities to add to and improve the client’s bottom line
- Oversee overall fiscal operations, including directing internal accounting programs and procedures, and maintaining relationships with outside partners and vendors as needed
- Provide ongoing financial analysis to company leaders in support of key business decisions
- Provide sound leadership to ensure compliance with financial and legal requirements
- Collaborate with the Accounting Operations team on technical accounting challenges
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Ability to oversee and review corporate accounting functions
- Complex financial modeling
- Solid understanding of accounting compliance requirements and experience implementing and managing accounting policies
- Excel proficiency, including:
- Pivot Tables
- Data Tables
- Formulas
- XLOOKUP
- SUMIF
- IF/THEN
- XIRR
- VBA macro-writing is a plus
- Process- and detail-oriented approach
- Desire to learn new technologies/methods
- Ability to follow established practices and continuously improve processes

Compensation & Benefits
- W2, non-exempt: $50–60/hr
- Performance-based bonus compensation plan
- 401k: up to a 4% match and no vesting period
- QSEHRA: $100/month
