Overview
A leading provider of test and measurement technologies for the semiconductor industry is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to develop and implement a comprehensive financial analytics function within the Finance department. This role focuses on leveraging data modeling, visualization, and analytics to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
Financial Analytics Development
- Collaborate with Finance leadership to design, implement, and scale a financial analytics framework that improves forecasting and business performance.
- Build advanced data models to analyze financial and operational performance, providing insights into revenue, margins, and key drivers.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for executives, business unit leaders, and operational teams.
- Identify opportunities to incorporate predictive and diagnostic analytics into financial decision-making.
Data Visualization & Reporting
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools delivering timely, accurate, and relevant information to stakeholders.
- Standardize financial reporting metrics, hierarchies, and master data definitions to ensure consistency across business units and corporate functions.
- Utilize visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics Cloud, or similar platforms to create intuitive, data-driven presentations for executive audiences.
Collaboration & Business Partnership
- Work closely with business unit finance teams, Global Sales, and Corporate FP&A to align financial data and insights.
- Partner with IT and data engineering teams to enhance data infrastructure, quality, and governance for financial analytics.
- Support the adoption of data-driven decision-making within Finance by coaching and mentoring colleagues on analytics best practices.
Continuous Improvement & Best Practices
- Evaluate and implement leading practices in financial analytics, modeling, and visualization.
- Recommend improvements to forecasting and planning processes using analytics-driven methods.
- Drive automation and efficiency in data preparation and reporting workflows.
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years with a Master’s degree; or 5 years with a PhD; or equivalent experience.
- Strong expertise in corporate finance, data analysis, financial modeling, financial reporting and analysis, financial systems development, forecasting, and visualization techniques.
- Hands-on experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Qlik, Python, and SQL.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $132,400.00 - $173,775.00 per year, depending on experience, skills, and background.

Location & Work Schedule
- Position is based in Portland, Oregon.
- Regular day shift hours.
