Overview
This role is a Senior Financial Analyst supporting the Product organization. You will serve as the dedicated FP&A partner for a set of Product sub-departments, owning financial planning and management across operating expenses and headcount. The position involves building models and running analyses, and then translating results into clear guidance to help business leaders make better decisions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated FP&A partner for assigned Product sub-departments, owning financial planning and management across operating expenses and headcount.
- Lead core financial planning rhythms, including annual planning, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and ongoing budget management.
- Partner with business leaders to evaluate investments, prioritize tradeoffs, and support resource allocation decisions with clear financial guidance.
- Own variance analysis across operating expenses and headcount, delivering actionable insights and recommendations that improve forecast accuracy and cost visibility.
- Build and maintain financial models to support planning, scenario analysis, and ad hoc decision-making.
- Support headcount planning and tracking, ensuring alignment between business hiring plans and financial targets.
- Prepare materials for management reviews and business partner check-ins, clearly communicating risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
- Identify and drive improvements in financial processes, reporting, and automation to help the team scale.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A or a similarly structured analytical finance role.
- Strong financial modeling skills and analytical rigor, with the ability to build clean, auditable models and derive clear insights from complex inputs.
- Excellent communication and storytelling ability; ability to present the narrative behind the numbers simply and persuasively.
- Track record of building trusted business partnerships; operates as a strategic advisor.
- Comfort working in ambiguity and creating structure where it does not yet exist.
- An AI-first operating mindset; proactively identify opportunities to use AI to accelerate analysis, improve processes, and evolve how finance operates.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office for financial models, reporting, and presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a Product, Engineering, or technology-focused organization.
- Familiarity with headcount-heavy OpEx environments, including HC planning processes and discretionary budget management.
- Experience with financial systems and analytics tools such as Anaplan, Looker, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Background in identifying and implementing process improvements, including automation and AI-enabled workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or equivalent experience; MBA is a nice-to-have.
- Candidates in Eastern or Central time zones are preferred given the collaboration needs of the role.

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual cash compensation range: $110,900—$166,400 USD
- Cash compensation includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under the bonus plan for eligible roles.
- Some roles may be eligible to participate in an equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs).
- Some roles may be eligible for overtime pay.
