Overview
A leading organization in the Information Technology sector is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives. This role will enhance business visibility and decision-making by partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote (US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available)
Compensation: $110,000 – $120,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly financial statements in accordance with ASPE standards
- Execute complex reconciliations and ensure accurate SaaS revenue recognition
- Support compliance efforts for audits and regulatory tax filings
- Maintain internal controls and standardized accounting procedures
- Lead month-end close processes and ensure timely financial reporting
- Develop KPI dashboards to provide actionable financial insights
- Collaborate on annual budgeting and forecasting processes
Qualifications
- CPA designation required
- 3-5+ years of experience in financial reporting, FP&A, or corporate accounting
- Experience at a Big Four accounting firm or in public accounting preferred
- Deep understanding of ASPE standards and operational finance
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; familiarity with ERP and FP&A tools is a plus
- Exceptional analytical skills and strong attention to detail
- Proactive approach to innovation, particularly with AI and financial technology
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with SaaS environments
- Proficiency with KPI dashboard tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Knowledge of automated financial reporting systems
- Familiarity with cloud computing infrastructure for SaaS
- Experience with data analytics platforms (e.g., SQL databases)
