- Lead detailed budget-versus-actuals (BvA) analysis each month; identify drivers, explain variances, and flag risks and opportunities to Finance and Technology leadership.
- Prepare the monthly budget deck and supporting analysis, translating financial results into a narrative leadership can act on.
- Manage headcount pacing and partner with hiring managers on trade-offs across open roles, timing, and backfills against plan.
- Own other opex pacing across the Technology organization, partnering with budget owners to keep spend aligned to plan.
- Build and maintain detailed models for cloud and infrastructure spend, including commercial inference and other usage-driven costs; forecast, pace, and optimize spend in partnership with Technology leaders.
- Drive resource tagging and initiative-level tracking so spend is transparent, attributable, and tied to the work it supports.
- Partner with Technology and Finance leadership on trade-off decisions, budget understanding, and the financial implications of strategic and operational choices.

- Strong command of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, with the ability to work comfortably between detailed analysis and big-picture strategy.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to build trusted relationships with non-finance partners and translate financial concepts for a technical audience.
- Bias toward ownership and action; comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
