Overview
A growing organization in the multi-family real estate sector is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support business areas with financial planning, analysis, and decision-driving analytics. The company provides compliance solutions for multifamily property owners, operators, and residents and has built a profitable business with expanding product offerings.
Responsibilities
- Act as the embedded finance partner to various business units, owning forecasts, performance reviews, and analytics that drive decisions.
- Maintain and enhance operating models and key performance indicator (KPI) frameworks used to manage the business.
- Translate ambiguous executive requests into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.
- Develop investor-ready materials such as board packages and executive presentations to clearly communicate business performance.
- Produce and improve recurring reports including partner statements, sales analytics, and operational metrics to ensure timely and accurate performance visibility.
- Convert financial models and forecasts into clear outputs that enable non-finance partners to understand key drivers and act on insights.
- Apply a strong financial perspective to business decisions, using structured analysis and return on investment (ROI) rigor for investments, pricing, and resource allocation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), investment banking, corporate finance, or a similarly analytical role.
- Ability to prioritize understanding the significance of a problem before focusing on building solutions.
- Demonstrated urgency and ownership, proactively providing structured viewpoints in ambiguous situations.
- Proven experience building and managing complex financial models in Excel to support analysis and decision-making.
- Skilled in creating clear, executive-level presentations using PowerPoint with strong narrative and visual design.
- Experience working with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems to extract, validate, and reconcile financial data.
- Proven ability to leverage artificial intelligence tools (e.g., agents, automations) to increase output, reduce manual work, and enhance analytical efficiency.
