Overview

This senior individual contributor role has no direct reports. The position supports global sales forecasting by providing insight into where the quarter and year will land, including what changed, why it changed, the key risks, and recommended actions.

You will serve as the global sales leader’s source of insight on forecast, pipeline, and performance. Working closely with an operations business partner, you will provide the analysis and intelligence behind the operating rhythm, and support the forecasting and revenue intelligence team’s outputs (such as account intelligence, targets, and reporting).

This role is one of four similar positions aligned to major parts of the sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analysis behind the weekly global sales forecast, including an independent view of quarter/year outcomes, commentary, risks, upside, and supporting rationale for executive leadership
  • Prepare the sales leader for forecast calls and executive reviews in coordination with the operations business partner running the cadence
  • Explain week-over-week forecast movement by cause (e.g., new pipeline, slipped/pushed deals, losses, deal size, timing, or changes in judgment)
  • Analyze pipeline health, including coverage, generation, stage conversion, velocity, slippage, linearity, and whether pipeline is sufficient for future quarters
  • Identify risks before they appear in reported results, including evidence and a recommended response
  • Measure and report forecast accuracy and bias for the supported business area
  • Run deep dives by geography, segment, product, route to market, and team, resulting in decisions
  • Provide insight and analysis for quarterly business reviews, growth priority reviews, and deal reviews, working with the operations business partner
  • Capture recurring needs and feed them back to the central team to be built once and shared across the four businesses

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of experience in sales forecasting, pipeline analytics, sales or revenue operations, sales strategy, or commercial finance
  • Experience forecasting and analyzing performance for a large sales organization, including presenting insights to senior sales leaders
  • Strong SQL and advanced reporting skills, with the ability to answer questions from data in real time
  • Deep working knowledge of Salesforce pipeline data
  • Ability to work with senior sales leaders, including presenting findings that may run counter to expectations
  • Comfort working in a matrixed structure alongside operations and finance partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with revenue intelligence platforms such as Clari, Gong, or Aviso
  • Experience embedded within a sales organization rather than supporting it centrally
  • Experience measuring and publishing forecast accuracy and bias
  • Experience in enterprise software or SaaS with subscription, renewal, and expansion motions, and direct, partner, and e-commerce routes to market

Compensation & Benefits

  • For U.S.-based roles, expected starting base salary between $130,400 and $210,980
  • Offers are based on experience and geographic location and may exceed this range
  • Compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package

Location

United States (remote). Eastern or Central time zone preferred.
