Overview
This role is responsible for core financial planning and analysis that supports operational excellence and keeps the business moving forward. You will partner with functional leaders across G&A, lead recurring corporate finance activities (monthly reporting, forecasting, and executive KPI reviews), and help identify opportunities that support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Drive financial planning processes, ensuring resource allocation stays within budget and forecasts align tightly with strategic goals
- Support and evolve the company-wide operating model, ensuring key inputs are linked to growth and profitability and that the model remains a reliable foundation for forecasting and planning
- Conduct robust financial analysis on results and operating KPIs to identify underlying trends and areas of opportunity
- Build and deliver monthly and quarterly reporting packages that communicate the story behind the numbers for the executive team and Board
- Leverage tools and systems to automate critical processes as the organization scales
- Support competitive intelligence, M&A, and other corporate development initiatives
- Support investor reporting, due diligence, and board-level discussions
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of strategic finance / FP&A experience at a high-growth startup
- Ideally includes 2+ years of consulting, banking, or investing experience
- Ability to drill into detailed analysis while maintaining a strategic lens
- Strong financial modeling skills to support multiple business needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach across all levels of the organization
- Curiosity and willingness to explore and apply AI tools to improve speed, efficiency, and decision-making
- Self-directed, resourceful problem-solver
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an early-stage, high-growth environment where immediate impact is expected
Compensation & Benefits
- Expected base pay range: $144,000 - $225,000 (based on qualifications, experience, and geographic location)
- Equity: This role may be eligible for an equity grant, depending on position and level
