Overview
This role is responsible for driving the financial planning and analysis function that supports operational excellence and helps keep the business moving forward. You will partner with corporate and G&A leaders to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and support strategic decision-making through monthly reporting, forecasting, and executive KPI reviews.
Responsibilities
- Drive financial planning processes, ensuring resource allocation stays within budget and forecasts are tightly linked to the organization’s strategic goals
- Support and evolve the company-wide operating model, ensuring key inputs are connected to growth and profitability and that the model is a reliable foundation for forecasting and planning
- Perform robust financial analysis on financial results and operating KPIs to identify underlying trends and areas of opportunity
- Build and deliver monthly/quarterly reporting packages that explain the drivers behind the numbers for the executive team and Board
- Leverage tooling/systems to automate critical processes as the organization scales
- Support competitive intelligence, M&A, and other corporate development initiatives
- Support investor reporting, due diligence, and board-level discussions
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of strategic finance/FP&A experience at a high-growth startup
- Ideally includes 2+ years of consulting/banking/investing experience
- Ability to translate analysis into action—people drive change, and you enjoy partnering across all levels of the organization
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to drill down while maintaining a strategic lens
- Strong financial acumen and expertise in building financial models to support multiple business needs
- Excitement about AI and how it is reshaping finance; actively explore and apply AI tools to drive faster insights, greater efficiency, and smarter decision-making
- Curious, self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving and resourcefulness
- Energized by joining an early-stage/high-growth environment and making immediate impact
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working as a strategic finance/FP&A leader within a high-growth startup environment
- Prior involvement with investor reporting, due diligence, and/or board-level discussions
Compensation & Benefits
- Expected base pay range: $144,000 - $225,000 (based on qualifications, experience, and geographic location)
- Equity grant eligibility may be available depending on position and level
