Overview
The organization is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to own day-to-day revenue and marketplace operations, support monthly close procedures, and perform revenue accounting aligned with ASC 606 and related contract costs. This is a highly visible role within the Quote-to-Cash finance team, partnering with stakeholders across the organization to ensure timely and accurate revenue accounting. The position also drives strategic system and process improvements and leads high-priority projects, including NetSuite integration improvements and revenue metric visualization and calculation.
Responsibilities
- Lead workstreams within special projects, including implementing Sigma and Claude Skills to automate revenue reporting and controls and visualize key performance metrics.
- Evaluate the accounting impact of contract restructures and modifications, ensuring appropriate treatment in NetSuite.
- Own key month-end processes, including reviewing subscription data within NetSuite and completing final fluctuation analyses by customer.
- Design, perform, and automate data reconciliations across critical system integrations, independently monitoring and resolving data flow discrepancies.
- Partner with Business Applications to define and drive ongoing process improvements and enhancements across the Quote-to-Cash technical stack, including Salesforce, Zone Billing, and NetSuite ARM.
- Advise Deal Desk, Strategy Ops, and FP&A on accounting matters and deal structures, including contract cancellations, driving issues to resolution.
- Perform SSP analysis and own updates to revenue recognition rules and allocations as needed.
- Manage preparation and review of audit support schedules; serve as a primary point of contact for financial audit inquiries.
- Prepare and review key revenue reports and financial metrics, including external quarterly and annual financial reporting disclosures such as ARR and related metrics, RPO, and disaggregated revenue.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA a plus.
- 2-3+ years of experience in revenue accounting or public accounting.
- Working knowledge of ASC 606 principles and internal controls, with the ability to apply them independently.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite ARM and Salesforce.
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to break down complex problems into actionable tasks and drive them to resolution with minimal oversight.
- Strong attention to detail, especially for contract analysis, reconciliations, and audit schedules.
- Agile mindset focused on continuous improvement, including automating key processes via Sigma, Claude, system automation, or other AI tools.

- Experience with Sigma, Claude, and Zone Billing.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Base Salary Range: $87,000 – $109,000
