This role is responsible for accurate revenue recognition and compliance with ASC 606 standards, supporting internal financial controls, audit readiness, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
Review customer purchase orders and contracts for ASC 606 revenue accounting.
Prepare manual journal entries and account reconciliations related to revenue.
Maintain Standalone Selling Price (SSP) models for revenue allocation.
Manage accounting for multi-element arrangements.
Research transaction histories and provide insights on ASC 606 application.
Assist with revenue disclosures in public filings.
Prepare detailed revenue reports, including variance analysis and trends.
Collaborate with sales, sales operations, order management, and legal teams.
Design and implement internal controls over revenue recognition.
Support internal and external audits with documentation and walkthroughs.
Identify and recommend revenue accounting process improvements.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
3-5 years of experience in public accounting or corporate revenue accounting under ASC 606.
Experience with SSP models and multi-element arrangements.
Detail-oriented, with knowledge of project financial management and billing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate cross-functionally.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to address complex accounting issues.
Preferred Qualifications
CPA license.
Knowledge of Oracle EBS, Oracle RMCS, Agile, Oracle Noetix, Salesforce.com, Alteryx, and Hyperion Financial Management.
Advanced Excel skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay range: $80,000-$95,000 annually.
