Overview
A team of accounting professionals within the Controllership organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Revenue Accounting team. This role supports revenue accounting for Rentals, New Construction, and Media business lines, working closely with various internal teams including Financial Reporting, Tax, FP&A, Billing and Collections, IT/Engineering, and Sales and Operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations during month-end close
- Provide financial insights to accounting leadership and business partners
- Optimize and automate existing processes to support business growth
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with Finance and business stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements and SOX controls
- Support internal and external audit activities
- Coach and review work of junior team members
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and financial analyses as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of experience, preferably in public accounting or a mid-to-large tech or high-growth company
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition
- CPA certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets
- Experience with Workday, Salesforce, and/or Zuora preferred
- Familiarity with Alteryx Designer and/or Databricks is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with urgency while maintaining attention to detail
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
Compensation & Benefits
- This is a remote position; employees may reside in any of the 50 U.S. states with limited exceptions
- Base salary ranges by location:
- California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC: $83,200 - $132,800 annually
- Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont: $79,000 - $126,200 annually
- Eligibility for equity awards based on experience, performance, and location
- Salary will not fall below the exempt employee threshold for the state of residence
