Overview
This role owns day-to-day revenue and marketplace operations, monthly close procedures, and revenue accounting for the Quote-to-Cash finance team. Responsibilities include ensuring timely and accurate revenue accounting in accordance with ASC 606, related contract cost accounting, and supporting revenue reporting and audit readiness.
In addition to core reporting, the role independently drives strategic system and process improvements and leads high-priority projects involving revenue system integrations and revenue metric visualization and calculation.
Responsibilities
- Lead workstreams within special projects, including implementing Sigma and Claude Skills to automate revenue reporting and controls and visualize key performance metrics.
- Evaluate accounting impacts of contract restructures and modifications, ensuring appropriate treatment in NetSuite.
- Own key month-end processes, including:
- Review of subscription data within NetSuite
- Final fluctuation analyses by customer
- Design, perform, and automate data reconciliations across critical system integrations; independently monitor and resolve data flow discrepancies.
- Partner with Business Applications to define and drive ongoing process improvements across the Quote-to-Cash technical stack, including Salesforce, Zone Billing, and NetSuite ARM.
- Advise Deal Desk, Strategy Ops, and FP&A on accounting matters and deal structures, including contract cancellations; drive issues through to resolution.
- Perform SSP analysis and own updates to revenue recognition rules and allocations as needed.
- Prepare and review audit support schedules; serve as a primary point of contact for financial audit inquiries.
- Prepare and review key revenue reports and financial metrics, including external quarterly and annual financial reporting disclosures such as ARR and related metrics, RPO, and disaggregated revenue.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA is a plus.
- 2–3+ years of experience in revenue accounting or public accounting.
- Working knowledge of ASC 606 principles and internal controls, with the ability to apply them independently.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite ARM and Salesforce.
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to break down complex problems into actionable tasks and drive them to resolution with minimal oversight.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly for contract analysis, reconciliations, and audit schedules.
- Agile mindset with focus on continuous improvement, especially automation via Sigma, Claude, system automation, or other AI tools.

- Experience with Sigma, Claude, and Zone Billing.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Base Salary Range: $87,000 – $109,000
