Overview
A leading Clinical Research Organization is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join their Corporate Tax team. This role supports the U.S. tax function with a primary focus on income tax and indirect tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filings while maintaining strong documentation to support internal controls and audit requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and support annual federal, state, and local corporate income tax returns.
- Assist with quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions.
- Prepare, file, and review sales and use tax, gross receipts tax, and property tax returns.
- Monitor changes in indirect tax regulations and assess their impact on the business.
- Prepare components of the quarterly and annual income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740.
- Assist with calculating current and deferred tax assets and liabilities.
- Prepare documentation for external auditors related to income tax accounts and supporting schedules.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in corporate tax within a large, complex organization.
- Public accounting experience focused on corporate tax is also acceptable.
- Strong proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- MS in Taxation or Accounting is required.
- CPA certification is preferred.
