Overview

This organization is hiring an Experienced AP/AR Specialist to join the finance team. The role provides day-to-day support for business unit customers and vendors through the procure-to-pay process, while also identifying process improvement opportunities and understanding corporate structures, business contacts, and stakeholders. The position also includes participation in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Track receipt of data and source documents.
  • Prepare and sort source documents; interpret data for entry.
  • Contact preparers of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
  • Maintain accurate and complete client files/filing.
  • Perform data entry in the Accounts Payable/Account Receivable System from source documents, including necessary coding; confirm accuracy and make corrections as needed.
  • Support team efforts to achieve results as required.
  • Perform general clerical duties (typing, scanning, copying, answering phones, filing, and related tasks).
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Requirements (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 1+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or AP/AR
  • High School diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Associate's degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, Business Administration, or related field
