This role is well-suited for a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong, well-rounded fundamentals and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Comfort working with others is required.
The ideal candidate also brings hands-on data analytics experience, including building and maintaining models and processes that clean, aggregate, and automate large datasets—then applying sound accounting judgment to the results.

- Prepare supporting documentation and schedules for reserve balances for internal review and audit purposes.
- Distinguish appropriately between revenue price concessions and AR bad debt write-offs, applying correct accounting treatment and classification to each.
- Analyze data and other financial information to verify accuracy and identify trends.
- Provide timely financial information to stakeholders.
- Support month-end close processes through journal entry preparation and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and properly documented support.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries into credit-related accounts (including General Ledger accounts) and document business transactions.
- Prepare and post journal entries and General Ledger reconciliations related to the AR and revenue reserves function.
- Record journal entries and reconciliations associated with credit memos, concessions, and loss contingencies under ASC 450.
- Interact with internal and external auditors as necessary to complete audit requests timely.
- Maintain knowledge of GAAP, SEC requirements, and other relevant accounting regulations.
- Prepare statistical and financial reports on a regular basis and as assigned.
- Build and maintain repeatable data workflows (Power Query, SQL views, scripts) to replace manual spreadsheet steps in close, reconciliation, and reporting cycles.
- Source and join data across ERP, billing, CRM, and data warehouse systems; validate completeness and reconcile to the system of record before using it in reporting.
- Identify manual, error-prone, or time-intensive accounting processes; redesign them and quantify outcomes in hours saved and errors reduced.
- Design automated reconciliations and controls that are auditable, with documented data lineage from source system to reported figure.
- Translate accounting logic into technical requirements and partner with IT/BI/Business Systems on data models, report builds, and system enhancements.
