Overview
This Senior Financial Analyst role serves as a direct financial partner to functions including accounting and overhead department leaders. The position provides analytical support for overhead cost and/or Capex spend, reviews financial data to connect results to operational performance drivers, generates alternatives, and helps drive positive change.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis (budget vs. actual)
- Partner with department leaders to track spend against budget and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Track, record, and summarize capital expenditures across business units, ensuring accurate categorization and alignment with budgeted capex plans
- Prepare, review, and distribute financial reports to business stakeholders
- Support month-end close activities in coordination with the accounting team
- Ensure data integrity across financial systems and reporting tools
- Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecast updates across business units
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights on trends, risks, and opportunities
- Assist in preparing materials for executive and board-level presentations
- Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models
- Help maintain and improve financial reporting tools, templates, and processes
- Assist in process implementation and manage various initiatives from a financial perspective
- Review and analyze large volumes of data and translate findings into clear, understandable insights
- Maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Microsoft Excel)
- Strong FP&A analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to complete duties with limited direct supervision and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to transform raw data into clear and actionable findings
Preferred Qualifications
- Financial systems experience preferred (Oracle’s Essbase a plus)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounting system preferred

Compensation is competitive and based on various factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant certifications and qualifications.
