This is a fully remote role.
The organization operates in the beverage industry, delivering health-conscious products through a portfolio that includes chilled juices, kombucha, and cold-pressed juices. Partners work with manufacturers and distributors to serve customers nationally.
The Senior Financial Analyst role is part of the Brand Finance team. The position manages profit and loss responsibilities for the beverage portfolio and works closely with research and development, operations, and finance to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.
Responsibilities
- Execute monthly actualization processes, including P&L variance analysis and issue resolution
- Support monthly forecasting with rolling 18-month financial performance projections
- Assist in building annual budgets and strategic plans
- Analyze complex financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and provide actionable insights
- Collaborate with R&D, operations, and logistics to integrate financial insights into strategic decisions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate and model savings initiatives in labor, sourcing, and equipment
- Support financial analysis of productivity initiatives and ROI calculations
- Identify process issues and lead implementation of system enhancements
- Manage integration with the business planning calendar
- Work with teams to improve processes, set targets, develop plans, and measure results
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related field
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with complex financial models
- Knowledge of financial and management accounting principles
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in consumer packaged goods or manufacturing
- Cross-functional collaboration experience
- Familiarity with ERP and financial planning tools
- MBA or CPA
