Responsibilities
Planning & Forecasting

- Help drive the annual budgeting process for functional areas by maintaining budget templates and scenarios built by functional leaders.
- Own headcount and contractor cost forecasting (roster-level detail, burden rates, and role-by-role phasing) and reconcile to the plan each cycle.
Close, Reporting & Audit
- Assist in the creation, consolidation, and distribution of monthly reports and critical metrics to key partners.
- Support the monthly financial close process and the annual financial audit as required.
- Prepare recurring YTD and full-year reporting packages requested by external auditors, lenders, and sponsor, and ensure tie-outs between the model, general ledger, and reported figures.
- Produce detailed budget vs. actual variance reports for functional leaders and support the presentation/distribution of results.
Business Partnering & Decision Support
- Build and manage relationships across the business and serve as the primary point of contact for analytical support for assigned teams.
- Build decks and presentations for executives, the board of directors, and partners/clients, including P&L commentary, revenue bridges, and segment/KPI pages that stand up to line-by-line scrutiny.
- Provide decision support (return on investment, NPV, benchmarking, etc.) for key business decisions including partnerships, customer contracts, and M&A activities.
- Analyze vendor, cloud, and other significant spend categories, distinguishing what scales with the business from what does not, and propose cost-efficiency opportunities.
Systems, Automation & AI
- Research, select, implement, and refine processes and systems to improve the efficiency and performance of the FP&A function.
- Use Cube for FP&A and NetSuite for ERP to maintain scenarios, data fetches, and mappings so plans and actuals remain connected without manual rebuilds.

- Develop understanding of markets, customers, and products to deliver more substantive financial and analytical support.
- Perform ad hoc research, analysis, and reporting as needed.
