Overview
A healthcare technology organization is seeking a Senior Value Attainment Analyst to lead the financial ROI analysis efforts that demonstrate the impact of their AI-driven clinical documentation platform. This role involves transforming customer data into clear, defensible ROI analyses that support contract renewals, expansions, and confidence in the product's value. The analyst will work across the full deal lifecycle, from pre-sale modeling to post-sale measurement and renewal support, collaborating closely with Care Transformation Executives, Sales, and Product teams.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end ROI analysis for assigned accounts, including data acquisition, cleaning, analysis, and presentation of results in quarterly business reviews.
- Apply and refine value measurement frameworks across various care settings and product lines, focusing on metrics such as E/M level improvement, HCC/RAF capture, coding completeness, visit volume, and throughput.
- Develop pre-sales pro forma financial models for active deals, ensuring assumptions are methodologically sound and benchmarked against cross-customer data.
- Maintain and monitor a cross-customer value dashboard to identify anomalies, benchmark individual account results, and provide insights to leadership.
- Collaborate with Care Transformation Executives and Sales to translate analytical findings into clear financial narratives and executive summaries for health system leadership.
- Identify and document attribution logic for new value levers, edge cases, and methodology improvements as products and customer base evolve.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in analytics, financial analysis, healthcare consulting, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency with SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets such as claims, billing, and encounter records.
- Strong written communication skills, capable of documenting methodologies and producing outputs usable by cross-functional teams without additional explanation.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality analytical work on deadline in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in health technology companies, revenue cycle management vendors, payer analytics teams, or healthcare consulting firms.
- Strong preference for candidates with healthcare finance experience, including knowledge of revenue cycle, fee-for-service reimbursement, HCC/RAF, and coding capture/completeness.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $147,706 to $194,129 per year, excluding equity or bonus targets.
