Overview
The accounting team is seeking a Corporate Staff Accountant to support month-end close activities, journal entries, variance analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations. This role also assists with audit efforts and contributes to ad-hoc accounting projects while collaborating with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare journal entries, flux/variance analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations during the month-end close process.
- Assist with implementing and documenting accounting procedures.
- Collaborate with teams both inside and outside of the Accounting Department.
- Answer financial and accounting questions by researching and interpreting data.
- Assist with annual internal and external audits, including preparation of required schedules, providing requested backup, and walking auditors through processes.
- Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
- Complete other projects as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think critically, take ownership, and see a process/project through to the end.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Adaptability and responsiveness to change in a fast-paced environment.
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation
- $62,000 - $73,000/annually, plus annual bonus potential.
