Overview
The organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to support accurate financial reporting within a growing healthcare technology environment. This role emphasizes precision, problem-solving, and maintaining strong accounting foundations. Work is 100% remote.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities.
- Assist with financial statement preparation and management reporting.
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
- Analyze financial data, research variances, and identify trends.
- Support external audits and prepare audit schedules.
- Assist with fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Partner with teams across the organization to support accurate financial reporting.
- Contribute to process improvements and other projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience, including general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Experience supporting month-end close processes.
- Experience working within an ERP or accounting system.
Preferred Qualifications
- Public accounting experience.
- CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification.
- Experience in healthcare technology, SaaS, or subscription-based organizations.
- Experience supporting audits and compliance initiatives.
Technical Skills
- NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, formulas).
- Financial reporting and reconciliation tools.
- Revenue recognition and subscription billing platforms.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Data analysis and reporting tools.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $85,000 - $95,000 annually.

Compensation offered will depend on factors including experience, skills, geographic location, and internal equity.
Location & Travel
- Remote.
- Travel: Up to 10%, based on business needs. While roles are 100% remote, team in-person meetings occur a few times a year for up to one week. Employees are given ample notice and attendance is expected.
Work Environment
- Primarily remote work.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a desk or workstation.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including a computer, keyboard, mouse, webcam, and telephone.
- Ability to occasionally move within a workspace to access files, office equipment, and work-related materials.
