Overview
This role is a hands-on, high-ownership Strategic Finance Manager position focused on owning the quantitative core of the finance function. You will own the company financial model end-to-end, build and maintain the FP&A playbook, and go deep on the numbers behind major decisions.
You’ll work closely with senior Finance leadership and functional leaders across the organization. This is not a support role—your work will have direct visibility with leadership and will shape real business decisions as the company scales.
Responsibilities
- Financial modeling: Own the company financial model end-to-end, maintain the 5-year model, run scenario analyses, and build new components as the business evolves.
- FP&A cadence: Run the core monthly and quarterly cycle, including variance analysis, actuals-vs-budget reporting, and quarterly forecasting across the company; partner with Accounting to ensure clean data flows into FP&A models.
- Budgeting: Lead the annual budget process by working with department leaders to build departmental budgets, roll them into a company-wide budget aligned to the financial model, and manage budget governance throughout the year.
- Commissions: Own the commission model and monthly payout calculations; partner with Sales and RevOps leadership to keep calculations accurate as compensation plans change and the sales team grows.
- Ad hoc analysis: Provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions across the organization, including pricing, hiring plans, investment cases, and other one-off requests from leadership.
Requirements
- Experience: 5–7+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or consulting.
- Modeling skills: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills; comfortable building financial models from scratch.
- SaaS metrics knowledge: Deep familiarity with SaaS business models and core SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, churn).
- FP&A workflow experience: Experience running FP&A workflows including variance analysis, budget vs. actuals, and forecasting.
- Startup environment: Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup where scope evolves.
- Startup scaling experience: Experience at a scaling startup.

- Compensation Range: $170K - $210K
