Overview
This internship supports the Treasury Analytics Department, providing exposure to Asset Liability Management (ALM) and Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL). The intern will assist with model development and governance, financial data analysis, and agentic AI integration.
Responsibilities
- Develop a working knowledge of the Treasury Analytics model inventory and Model Risk Management Lifecycle
- Develop a working knowledge of data preparation, model training, validation, testing, and monitoring
- Gain exposure to large databases using tools such as Snowflake, PowerBI, and Git
- Contribute to department projects using R and/or Python

Qualifications & Education Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Arts or Science in Applied Mathematics, Economics, Finance/Accounting, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
- Master’s degree candidates preferred
- Finance and statistical modeling knowledge preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay for this position is anticipated to be $22 per hour (per Colorado and Virginia law)
Work Environment
- Remote work environment for 5 days a week (Monday–Friday), except for federal bank holidays
- 40 hours a week
