This part-time winter Tax Intern role supports the efficient execution of tax engagements while learning from and collaborating with experienced professionals across a range of tax practice areas. The internship provides exposure to individual and business tax compliance, real estate, manufacturing and distribution, venture capital, and high-net-worth client services.
Interns assist with preparing tax returns, researching tax issues, and documenting client data, while beginning to build professional relationships across the organization.
This internship is scheduled to support the busy season from January - April 2027.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
- Support the organization and maintenance of tax documents and client information.
- Develop a strong understanding of tax software and other relevant tools.
- Support tax compliance and planning projects.
- Conduct tax research and analysis under the guidance of experienced staff.
- Complete administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and document preparation.
Requirements
- Enrollment at an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a major or emphasis in Accounting.
- Expected completion of bachelors or masters degree in Accounting between December 2026 and June 2028.
- Minimum accounting GPA of 3.0 preferred.
- CA CPA eligible.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
- High motivation to learn and produce high-quality work.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues and a sophisticated client base.
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team to meet periodic and project-based client deadlines.
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary ranges for U.S.-based positions are determined by geographic location and fall into one of three pay zones, reflecting the cost of labor in that area. The anticipated hourly range for this position is:
- $24.00/hour - $30.00/hour
