Tax Manager/Supervisor (Central Wisconsin)

Overview

This role is part of the business tax team and focuses on managing client relationships while ensuring annual tax products and monthly financial work are prepared and delivered within expected timelines.

Central Wisconsin office locations:

• Wausau, WI
• Marshfield, WI

Responsibilities

• Prepare payroll, tax, and business records and reports.
• Prepare corporate and individual tax returns.
• Build new and strengthen existing client relationships by demonstrating basic knowledge of clients' businesses.
• Communicate with clients and meet with them as requested; provide recommendations to assist clients with financial or tax needs.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a similar role within a public accounting firm.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting highly desired or equivalent work experience.
• CPA certification highly desired or ability to attain.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification highly desired.

Schedule

• Up to 50–60 hours per week during tax season.
• 30–40 hours per week the remainder of the year.
• Flexible Monday–Friday 8a–5p schedule.
• Part-time and seasonal team members are welcome.
