Overview

This role is for Certified Independent Contractor positions at senior levels within a private capital ecosystem platform. The platform connects finance professionals with real deal flow and transaction analytics projects, serving fund managers, investors, and operators in private markets.

Responsibilities

As a Certified Transaction Analysis Associate, you will:

  • Access and support live transactions with real deal flow
  • Perform detailed transaction analysis, financial modeling, and due diligence support
  • Assist investors, fund managers, and operators on transaction execution
  • Build a verified transaction track record and Analyst Rating Score

Work is performed only in approved categories based on certification and performance assessments.

Typical transaction-related tasks include:

  • Three-statement financial modeling
  • Discounted cash flow (DCF), leveraged buyout (LBO), and operating company valuation models
  • Commercial real estate underwriting
  • Sensitivity, scenario, and risk analysis
  • Comparable company and precedent transaction benchmarking
  • Valuation summaries ("football field" charts)
  • Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis
  • Commercial, operational, and financial due diligence
  • Risk assessment and mitigation support
  • Investment memo preparation
  • Support for investor and internal transaction review processes

Requirements

To qualify for certification, candidates must meet at least one of the following:

  • Score 70% or higher in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
  • Complete approved financial training offered by the platform
  • Hold an active professional credential such as CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent

Analysts are rated on a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines their visibility, approved work categories, and recommended hourly rates.

Certification Tiers and Compensation

  • Senior Analyst

    • Rating Score: 90–100
    • Pay: $150–$200/hour
    • Typical background: 5+ years in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or senior consulting with transaction execution or modeling experience
  • Lead Analyst

    • Rating Score: 80–89
    • Pay: $100–$150/hour
    • Typical background: 3–5 years of deal-level modeling, underwriting, or diligence experience
  • Analyst / Associate Analyst

    • Rating Score: 60–79
    • Pay: $50–$100/hour
    • Typical background: Entry- to mid-level analysts with strong technical and financial modeling skills

Compensation & Deal Terms

  • Independent contractor status; not traditional employment
  • Hourly rates based on Analyst Rating Score and approval level
  • Potential to earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
  • Maximum deal-based earning capped at $2,500 per transaction
  • Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
  • Approvals and certifications may be revoked for quality or compliance issues

Compliance

Transaction Analysis Associates do not:

  • Provide investment advice
  • Solicit securities
  • Represent the platform in any regulated capacity

All work is limited to transaction analysis, modeling, and diligence support and must comply with applicable securities laws.

Location

Remote work within the private capital ecosystem platform. Independent contractor roles with flexible engagement based on certification and approvals.
