Treasury Specialist

Overview

This role is eligible for work-from-home within Arkansas, Idaho, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. Preference will be given to current employees and candidates who reside in Arkansas, Idaho, or Utah.

This position is part of the Treasury & Cash Management team and involves a range of general treasury and cash management functions, including account and bank reconciliations, payment receipts, monitoring payment activity, posting bank transactions, and maintaining day-to-day procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review daily bank activity to accurately post and reconcile transactions.
• Prepare required daily and monthly journal entries (including split payments, corrections, bank returned items, and reclassification transactions as appropriate).
• Maintain and reconcile various balance sheet accounts on a timely basis; ensure accuracy by preparing documentation for reconciling journal entries.
• Gather, validate, and summarize accounting or statistical data accurately.
• Identify and research payments and coordinate posting to various A/R systems.
• Conduct day-to-day monitoring of payment activities and posting of bank transactions.
• Develop and maintain desktop procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and attributes

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to accurately key accounting data at 40 wpm with 95% accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and meet established deadlines with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Ability to think analytically and make sound judgments from analysis.
• Ability to work flexible hours during periods of heavy workloads.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with staff and management at all levels.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with stakeholders.
• Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making in professional settings is highly desired.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay ranges vary based on work location. The expected hiring range depends on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure/certifications; and performance history.

• National pay structure (applies to Washington, Oregon, and the Boise, Lewiston, and Salt Lake City metro areas): full hourly range $20.00 - $32.50 per hour; bonus target 6%.
• Regional pay structure (applies to Arkansas, Idaho, and Utah locations outside the metro areas listed above): full hourly range $18.25 - $29.30 per hour; bonus target 6%.
