Overview
A leading provider of AI-driven property management technology is seeking a Utility Billing Specialist to join their ResidentUtility team. This role involves managing utility billing services for a portfolio of multifamily housing clients, ensuring timely and accurate billing and invoicing for residents.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing the receipt, processing, and distribution of utility bills with accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure monthly resident billing is completed accurately and on schedule.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and execute necessary follow-ups.
- Coordinate with Utility Expense Management (UEM) team members to ensure timely receipt of utility bills.
- Work with Utility Service Managers to meet client billing requirements.
- Provide customer support to residents regarding utility charges.
- Collaborate with team members on projects and audits related to ResidentUtility services.
- Assist colleagues as needed to support team objectives.
- Meet department metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to deliver quality results under strict deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills to manage workload effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in property management.
- Experience with utility billing or related utility services.
