Valuations Analyst

Overview

This role is a 100% remote Valuations Analyst (VA). The VA will value prospective deals and determine the scope of work for properties the organization acquires. The analyst must provide reliable market value estimates for prospective residential acquisitions and develop reliable pricing strategies for properties after acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Determine pricing strategy to maximize ROI for acquired properties, including dispositions turnaround times
• Partner with Sales and Construction Departments on pricing decisions, budget, and the scope of work for construction strategy
• Perform property valuations across the entire US and ensure valuation accuracy
• Meet valuation turnaround objectives so properties do not remain on the market too long
• Handle multiple priorities and deadlines
• Complete other related tasks as needed to support business goals

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential property valuations/underwriting
• Appraisal license, or completion of all appraisal coursework (preferred)
• Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new technology
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
