Overview
This role involves serving as the primary Workday Financials administrator and support contact for the Finance team within a technology solutions environment. The position offers a salary up to $137,500 and opportunities for career advancement and growth.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main Workday Financials administrator, addressing configuration issues and user requests
- Diagnose and resolve configuration problems across various Workday Financials modules
- Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional design specifications
- Support enhancements, new feature rollouts, and process improvements within Workday Financials
- Maintain accurate system documentation and manage support tickets through a defined intake process
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of hands-on Workday Financials configuration and support experience in a business analyst or functional analyst role
- Deep working knowledge of one or more Workday Financial Management modules
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate competing priorities
- Experience in business requirements gathering and writing functional design documents
- Solid understanding of core finance and accounting concepts and their relation to Workday configuration
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday Pro certification in Financial Management
- Experience supporting Workday in a publicly traded company with SOX compliance requirements
- Familiarity with Workday Adaptive Planning and its integration with the Financials module
- Exposure to Workday Prism Analytics or Workday Reporting
- Experience with finance-adjacent applications that integrate with Workday
