Overview
This role is part of a Workday Practice team focused on delivering Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. The position involves working on assessments and full transformations to help organizations improve business decision-making through Workday HCM.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a hands-on HCM Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, and/or Scheduling Solution Architect on assigned projects.
- Facilitate design sessions and capture client requirements.
- Configure creative Workday solutions and mentor other consultants.
- Manage documentation, configuration, testing support, go-live support, and post-production (hypercare) support.
- Collaborate within an innovative team culture to enable continuous improvement.
- Communicate challenges and process improvements to project leadership.
- Demonstrate consultative skills and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience using Workday payroll, absence, time tracking, etc.; OR
- Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; OR
- No degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Participation in at least 5 full Workday payroll implementations.
- Current Workday Certification in one or more of the following: Payroll for USA, Time Tracking, Absence.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, balanced with remote work and office locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience executing projects within a structured methodology.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including RFP responses, white papers, and client presentations.
- Experience with implementations in state or local government environments.
- Background working in HR departments with an understanding of organizational challenges.
- Experience in ERP software sales cycles, including RFx responses and oral presentations.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range: $135,000 to $225,000, depending on skills, experience, certifications, and other factors.

Location & Travel
- Up to 50% travel required, with a balance of remote work and office presence.
- On-site support may be needed for key project milestones.
