Overview
An organization is seeking a Senior Accountant Financial Analyst to join their Clinical Research Support Office. This full-time, fully remote position supports clinical research administration by managing financial aspects of clinical research projects.
Responsibilities
- Serve as financial project manager for assigned clinical research projects
- Develop and support research project budgets, ensuring inclusion of indirect, pass-through, and one-time costs
- Provide training and education on clinical trial post-award management to departments and clinical groups
- Negotiate directly with clinical trial sponsors, review and prepare responses to budget offers and counteroffers
- Enter final budget terms into the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (equivalencies for education and experience considered)
- Minimum 4 years of related experience
- Ability to sit for extended periods using computer and telephone
- Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, with occasional early or late meetings
- Fully remote work arrangement
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $47,278 to $78,000 per year
