Accounting/Finance Consultant

Overview

An organization is seeking an experienced Accounting/Finance Consultant to support project work and assist with day-to-day accounting operations. This role enables finance leaders to focus on strategic initiatives by managing operational details and bridging the gap between financial planning and accounting review.

Responsibilities

• Support project work and daily accounting tasks.
• Assist finance leaders in concentrating on strategic objectives.
• Bridge forward-looking financial planning with accounting review.
• Participate in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate on month-end closing processes and general ledger management.
• Contribute to the preparation and analysis of financial statements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of strong accounting experience.
• Proficiency in general ledger management and month-end processes.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
• Strong systems experience.
• Ability to work in a detailed, hands-on manner rather than solely overseeing operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in tax or treasury functions is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay range: $70.00 - $80.00.

Work Environment

• This is a fully remote contract position.
• Based out of Cleveland, OH.
• The role ideally requires 40 hours per week; however, candidates seeking 15-20 hours per week will also be considered. Multiple hires may be made to meet workload demands.
