Billing Analyst I
Overview
A healthcare organization serving rural health networks in South Carolina is seeking a Billing Analyst to support payment processing systems and ensure compliance with revenue cycle regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Cash Application Analyst to maintain payment processing systems
- Review and analyze electronic Remittance data for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Conduct ERA/EFT searches and communicate with payors and clearinghouses regarding missing ERAs or checks
- Work with Information Services on payment posting issues and barriers
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of experience for support roles or 0-2 years for professional roles
