Overview
This role is for Certified Contractor Analysts operating as independent contractors within a private capital ecosystem platform. Analysts are certified and verified through a structured process and then gain access to live deal flow and paid strategic analysis work supporting investors, fund managers, and operators.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate investment opportunities for alignment with fund and portfolio strategies
- Model and analyze capital allocation scenarios, ROI, and risk-adjusted returns
- Conduct market, sector, and competitive analysis to support strategic recommendations
- Prepare dashboards, executive summaries, and presentations for investors and fund managers
- Monitor portfolio companies and investments for strategic fit and performance metrics
- Recommend initiatives for capital efficiency, growth strategies, and risk mitigation
- Support investment memos, due diligence, and operational review processes
Analysts perform work only in categories for which they have received approval.
Certification and Analyst Levels
Candidates become Certified Capital Strategy Associates after completing an assessment or approved training and receiving category-specific approvals. Analysts are promoted within the platform and build a verified track record along with an Analyst Rating Score (0–100) that determines platform visibility, approved work categories, and recommended hourly rates.
Certification Tiers and Pay Ranges

Senior Analyst
- Rating Score: 90–100
- Pay: $150–200/hour
- Typical Background: 5+ years in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, strategic consulting, or portfolio management

- Rating Score: 80–89
- Pay: $100–150/hour
- Typical Background: 3–5 years in investment strategy, deal execution, or portfolio advisory

- Rating Score: 60–79
- Pay: $50–100/hour
- Typical Background: Entry to mid-level analysts with strong analytical, modeling, and strategic evaluation skills
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet at least one of the following:
- Score 70% or higher in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
- Complete approved financial training
- Hold an active professional credential such as CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent
Compensation and Deal Terms
- Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
- Hourly rates depend on Analyst Rating Score and approval level
- Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees, with a maximum of $2,500 per transaction
- Payments are issued only after successful completion of approved work
- Approvals may be revoked for quality or compliance issues

Analysts do not provide investment advice, solicit securities, or represent the platform in a regulated capacity. Work is limited to analytical, diligence, and strategic capital support and must comply with applicable securities laws.
